We are so looking forward to joining us on our wedding day in Charleston. Our ceremony will be facing the Ashely River beneath two historic live oak trees with dinner and festivities to follow inside the Carriage House (c.1840)- see directions for parking below* and maps of the parking route and grounds in the "Updates" section. Charleston is typically beautiful in December, and we expect nothing less for our special day. If you have a few extra minutes before the ceremony enjoy a quick walk around the banks of the Ashley River and the lawns of the Carriage House.
Local To-dos:
We hope that you take time to visit and take in Charleston's natural and historic areas during your stay. During the entire wedding week guests will have the opportunity to visit and tour Magnolia Plantation for free, so please take advantage of one of Charleston's most celebrated historical grounds.

We have left the choice of accommodations to our guests. Charleston boasts lists and lists of wonderful areas, each with its own character. Listed below are approximate distances and travel times between popular areas and Magnolia Plantation. Please note that daily traffic in the afternoon typically runs east to west; so may effect travel times. The sites listed below are ordered beginning with closet/ ease of traffic.
The Inn at Middleton Place: 4 miles/ 8 minutes
Summerville: 14 miles/ 25 minutes
Charleston International Airport/ Tanger Outlets: 12 miles/ 25 minutes
Downtown/ historic Charleston: 13 miles/ 25 minutes
Folly Beach: 21 miles/ 40 minutes
Isle of Palms: 33 miles/ 55 minutes
*Parking Directions: Once inside Magnolia Plantation, proceed following signs that directly lead to the Plantation House. Make a right turn directly in front of the Plantation House. This road leads directly to the Carriage House and ceremony site. Parking will be found on your left at "Carriage House Parking" and "Bus Parking". Please refer to the map in the"Updates" section at the very bottom of the page.
